Hardeep Puri is the Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas, overseeing India's critical energy portfolio. A retired IFS officer with a distinguished diplomatic career including stints as India's Permanent Representative to the UN, he was inducted into the BJP cabinet in 2017.
