K.K. Ragesh is a CPIM Rajya Sabha MP from Kerala and husband of the late CPI(M) leader and former Finance Minister K.K. Shailaja (who is actually a different person — Ragesh is a party leader himself). An active CPM trade union organiser and party functionary, he has been working with the Centre of Indian Trade Unions and represents Left labour interests in Parliament.
