Mohan Yadav
Chief Minister
About
Mohan Yadav became Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh in December 2023, a surprise pick by the BJP central leadership over veteran Shivraj Singh Chouhan. A former Higher Education Minister and holder of a doctorate, he is an OBC leader from the Ujjain region. His selection was seen as BJP's effort to project a new OBC face while keeping Chouhan's influence in check.
